• Disinfectant and Antiseptic Testing

We have an extensive catalogue of standard microorganisms, as well as industry-specific and multi-drug resistant strains. Our disinfectant testing laboratory follows standards such as EN 14476, EN 1276, and EN 13697 to validate disinfectant efficacy in general, medical, and veterinary areas.

• Biofilm Testing

  Biofilms are how microorganisms exist outside the lab and show increased resistance to antimicrobial agents. Go beyond what is currently required for regulatory approval and validate your biocidal products against single- and multi-species biofilms, as well as those specific to industry or disease using validated biofilm models.

• GMP Disinfection Validation

  Have confidence in the cleaning regimes in place in your GMP facilities and cleanrooms. We have extensive experience validating disinfection procedures, testing microbial strains isolated from your in-house environmental monitoring on surfaces representative of your facility.

• Preservative Testing

  Validate the preservation efficacy of your formulations, extending shelf-life and preventing microbial contamination. We can perform this on cosmetic to ISO 11930, or in industrial formulations using IBRG methods. We also offer UKAS accredited Preservative Efficacy Testing for cosmetics together with our Tentamus sister-lab, Southern Microbiological Services - A Tentamus Company (lab No. 1922).
